Musk said he will discuss investing $5 billion in xAI with the board of directors of Tesla.
After gaining support from fans on platform X, Musk plans to discuss with Tesla's board of directors the possibility of investing $5 billion in xAI, an artificial intelligence startup. Earlier this week, Musk launched a 'poll' on platform X to seek opinions from his 191 million fans on the potential investment. Musk asked, 'Assuming xAI's valuation is set by several reliable external investors, should Tesla invest $5 billion in this company?' He also wrote, 'Board approval and shareholder voting are necessary, so this is just a trial balloon.' By the second day, about 67 of the 958,086 voters had agreed.
