Halloween Scare?

Nasdaq experienced its worst day for over a month. Microsoft clocked its worst day in 2 years. We had quite a sell off on Halloween Day.
As of the time of writing, futures are bouncing. Most tech stocks are rising during pre market too. Was yesterday’s sell off a Halloween scare?

tuanle07 : I do hope it will go back to where it was a few days ago. However, the election risk is still there in people’s minds. Hopefully it won’t drop at opening. If Trump wins, all Mag 7 stocks will fly higher. Haha.

10baggerbamm OP : the reality is a case can be made for virtually every single stock that it's a trump trade. I want to buy aetherium this morning I sold some of my position around $6 I kept some I was hoping it broke out it did not it's back down but I have so much exposure with equities right now and I'm going to get put a shitload of stock at 4:00 today unless something miraculously happens that I have to keep some powder dry I have to have cash because the fear of the unknown for the election results are going to weigh on investors significantly. I think that's why we didn't see a market bounce yesterday at the close the people that said all right I got stopped out or I took a loss I'm just going to wait till next week because this is a marathon not a Sprint and even if I have to pay up $5 more for a stock so be it I just have to know who's going to be in the White House

tuanle07 10baggerbamm OP : I’m going to hold some for the election result excitement. I’m quite certain that Trump will win, that’s why I’m not going to cash out early like I usually did with other major events. Haha.

tuanle07 财神爷我爱你 : MS will be the leader in Cloud AI solutions in the future for sure. Even my company has set up a new AI team to explore on offering our customers with some AI experiences. Will definitely surpass Apple which I don’t know why is more valuable than MS atm.

SPY soon to have NVDA as its largest holding by weight, surpassing MSFT.

This is interesting and food for thought. I’m not sure how I feel about SPY $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ lifting NVIDIA $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ to its number 1 position given how little diversified the company is at this point.
