meaning they did not purchase the Bitcoin on a credit card they're not paying an interest they're not borrowing the money from a bank if you will
convertibles have no guarantee so they're getting 30% premium over the stock when it converts whatever the stock price is
Michael scammer sold to the creditors is bitcoin's going to appreciate a 21% a year and the stock price was up 500% last year whatever the hell it was and that's the type of returns that you can expect going forward not guaranteed but if Bitcoin keeps going up that's what you can expect to see so in the future the stock price conceivably four years from today could be $1,000 could be $1,500 and you're going to get wherever that stock price is plus another 30 or 40%, whatever was in the note offering.
they forked over the money under this pie in the sky delusion
if micro strategy stock lapses to a $100 in 4 years if they were getting a 30% premium then they would get $130 worth of stock back that's it that's all they get
the stock collapsing does not cause microstrategy to suffer any type of force liquidation
they have to pay the preferred shareholders 8% based off of a price of $100 so $8 on $100 they have to pay the only way they come up with that money is by diluting common class A shareholders by selling stock.
so they're not going to default on that cuz he's got 30 billion shares to sell in the open market
so microstrategy is not subjected to any type of force liquidation of Bitcoin that's not happening
it's not like you are an investor you put in a $100,000 and you borrow $100,000 on margin and you bought microstrategy stock at $430 a short while ago and now it's collapsed down to 250 you've had a Fed funds call you've been liquidated

The company has a long-term holding strategy for Bitcoin and its debt structure is relatively sound. Unless the price of Bitcoin falls extremely or the company is unable to repay its debts, it is unlikely to be forced to liquidate its Bitcoin holdings. Investors should pay close attention to Bitcoin price fluctuations and the company's financial situation and assess risks rationally.

10baggerbamm 74834492 : the debts that they're going to repair with stock they have 30 billion shares they can issue if he's not capable of conning any other people to buy his convertible debt because I'm sure they're thrilled today after buying Bitcoin at 97,000 and seeing it 86 today and watching the underlying stock collapse to the extent that it has since the convertible closed. all he has to do is sell stock dilute shareholders he can pay the preferred shareholders their dividend of 8% not a problem he can repay the convertible holders in worthless stock that's not a problem.
so there is no risk of forced liquidation it's impossible unless microstrategy stock goes to zero and that wouldn't happen cuz he could always reverse split it because he is 30 billion shares that he can sell to raise Capital by Bitcoin so he has plenty of money to pay every creditor of the convertible series back that are outstanding stock in the future he has plenty of money available to pay the coupon or the dividend of the preferred holders by selling stock at the market and diluting shareholders.
so it doesn't really matter if Bitcoin goes to $10,000 it makes no difference because there is no guarantee of price that the convertible holders will get maturity it's just one share at current market plus whatever was set 30% 35% 40%.
