why not just buy bitcoin?

$MicroStrategy (MSTR.US)$ my question is why ppl buy a company holding bitcoins when they can just buy and hold bitcoins cheaper? this company is more than 2 times more expensive then the bitcoins it is currently holding… 444k bitcoins @ 93.4k divided by 244m shares is only 170 per share?

105336001 : Because to many, it is easier and more convenient to buy a stock or bitcoin etf as opposed to buying bitcoin directly and have to worry how to store it properly, sell it etc.

ahhao : And it’s a way to get exposure to BTC in the form of security where u can trade options, gamble, leverage, borrow against and etc etc. No risk no gain

10baggerbamm : this question's been asked a thousand times if it's been asked one time. if you do not understand what Michael Saylor is doing that is why you are asking this question. so what you need to do is go on to X and go back over here and start listening and understanding. they say it takes 100 hours before somebody will buy Bitcoin because it takes that long to understand it and they say it takes a thousand hours to understand what Michael Saylor is doing even if you own Bitcoin

102514703 : A company that relies on Bitcoin to break through a new high. You need what level Bitcoin can reach in order to be interested in it. What this company is currently doing is betting that Bitcoin will rise and break through a new high in the future. Conversely, it will be over after staying at a low point for 2 years, so he chose Bitcoin, which is highly volatile

TechWhiz : The simplest answer is : you buy mstr once and saylor will keep buying btc for you.
The complicated answer is you are buying leverage , 1.5 to 2x btc volatility , ability to generate options income & the prospect of buying the Amazon of crypto or the Berkshire of crypto.
