• TechWhiz : mstx recently changed to 2x only.  previously it was 1.75x.
  yes, mstu is not returning 2x as promised even on a daily basis. not sure why.
  there is volatility decay for sure on a longer period but daily should be close to 2x . maybe their swap didn't work

• stock sniperr : Yes Mstx and Mstu can give you superb profit especially in the last few weeks since start of November. But when market is coming down, sell off immediately because you can lose your pants. Only play the leverage when you can catch the upstream in the price. Otherwise if you want to play long term just go with mstr.

• HMS Victorious OP : My strategy was originally to hold MSTU long term - my thinking was it’s the fastest horse so why not ride it? So far I’ve done very well but after the latest drop im questioning my strategy. Now I think maybe use it like a pump e.g. sell at or near local peaks and transfer to MSTR and then buy back in at or near local bottoms.

• HMS Victorious OP stock sniperr : Good advice I think. I notice you achieved this as you said you will sell and buy MSTR before the last big sell off. In hindsight I wish I followed your example but I’m still up 3X since I bought. Just would prefer 6X lol

• 10baggerbamm : it's not a matter of Bitcoin falling less than 10%, it's a matter of the euphoria and the momentum that took over with microstrategy. microstrategy was $113 2 months ago and while Bitcoin was down in the $60,000 range during that period of time frame the only reason why micro strategy stock went up parabolic was momentum investors that's it. the multiple of the valuation that Michael Taylor says is irrelevant clearly is relevant. where historically microstrategy traded on a high of about two times the assets of Bitcoin that it holds it now is trading at an excessive four times evaluation of the Bitcoin that it holds.
  the analogy that I use is walk down the street walk up to a total stranger and go hey look I got $100 bill here do you want it someone would say sure, give me $400 for it and it's yours. I know that's not a complete explanation and a perfect analogy however you are paying a 400% premium to bitcoin a week ago when buying microstrategy. and granted I understand he's selling the volatility he's making $490 million dollars a day when Bitcoin was $99,000 he's making 10x on his money on the convertible that are done at 99,000 and even if it falls to 70 he makes One X 100% return. and all of that sounds great but when you have somebody that was smart enough strategically to issue a short seller report the damn brakes and it's a run for the door and then every short seller jumps on top because the momentum has turned. so how long will it take to get back to it's old highs probably best case scenario several quarters, because it won't trade at that level of a premium to bitcoin any longer. what will help number one Bitcoin does cross $100,000 number two Trump establishes a strategic reserve. without one or the other happening it's going to be a very very long ramp up. everybody is waiting January 20th for Trump to say a strategic reserve will be established if he does not establish a strategic reserve Bitcoin is going to get hit hard.

• stock sniperr 12345678txy OP : I've been on and off using this x2 leverage. When btc price is ripping, you get 40 to 50% in a couple of days. But get out fast once you make profit here. Play mstr for long term.

• 12345678txy OP stock sniperr : I think bitcoin volatility and unexpected turns of events are not meant for me. I wanted to sell at today's price and buy at a lower cost to recover like how I did for other shares, but this is not helping as each day the price drops steeper than I thought. sweat
