Nokia Expands Agreement to Provide Datacenter Routers, Switches to Microsoft Azure
nokia oyj signed a datacenter network contract with microsoft Azure.
Finnish telecommunications giant nokia oyj and microsoft's cloud computing service company Azure have signed a five-year agreement to provide datacenter networks for the latter. Nokia's datacenter switches will be installed at new sites and used to support microsoft's transition to 400GE connections in existing facilities. Overall, the agreement covers more than 30 countries, and nokia stated in a statement that this strengthens its global position. The financial terms of this agreement were not disclosed.
