Money Thrill OP : I think it is wise to build in more safety. Investing in a country other than the US can also be useful. In every crisis, the US has outperformed other countries because it has benefited from its safe haven status. But now? They build chips for all of the leading tech companies; AMD, Apple, Broadcom, and a number of others.
TSMC benefits from NVIDIA greatly but by no means do they depend on them to exist.
in fact, its the other way around. without TSMC then NVIDA would just be drawing pretty pictures of graphics chips.

71732910 : It's best to go with TSMC for now.  To me, tsmc seems like an etf because they provide chips to almost every tech company.  Kinda like separate companies that make products for Costco.  They buy it and put the Kirkland name on it for resale in Costco stores.
TSMC will start to lose market share when more companies start mass producing their own chips.
