Money Thrill : Indeed, if you look at. ASML | The world's supplier to the semiconductor industry  you see that net sales are upwards.  Q2 6,243 millions  and Q3 7,467 millions . Also net income.  Also earnings/ share Q2 4.01  Q3 5.28 . So fundamental good but guidance is "expected " (?) to be not so good but that's a guess ?  But realize that the Dutch people, Netherlands, are always cautious in their forecasts for the future .
So it the reactions of investors is extremely exaggerated

Money Thrill : In Europe it is now down 30 € but this can change if US markets opens? So wait a bit ? Perhaps it follows the premarket evolution in US ? Serious drop from 1000 € but really exaggerated?

70183665 : Perhaps there will be a surprise in taiwan semiconductor's financial report tomorrow. Right now, this is general holding up the market, holding the fort first.

TheOracleOfHindSight : Anything Biden did Trump will probably reverse mostly out of spite. He got along well with China while he was in office but campaign wise he had to talk heavy on China, including the tariffs, but those are just 10% that doesn’t change a lot. There are fears in the US like you say about, our chipmakers giving up our technology to China, but if they want it, they’ll get it anyway. I read the Wall Street Journal that the Chinese are really behind an AI and probably will continue to be because their models are only allowed to examine information that’s vetted by the CCP which I found out which I thought was interesting, I guess we’ll see what happens personally, I would look for the bottom in the next two weeks and watch the election closely. I think Trump is going to win. I think that there’s grassroots stuff going on that put them in the office. And because I think that I’ll probably buy long options out a year or two I’m producers like NIO. I think that coupled with the governments willingness to help production and assist in the economy. It will push the stocks up over the next two years. But no one should listen to me. I’m an idiot. Trust me.
