• 10baggerbamm OP Chipmunk : ordinarily if I'm getting put stock I immediately go over the top and sell it covered call for the following Friday at the next incremental strike price. I didn't do it today I think a lot of the shit that went on with the video was regarding the options that we're going to be expiring. so in the next week week and a half I think we'll recover everything that I gave up today and then I'll sell a call. you need to be an Nvidia for the first quarter next year so you can trade it back and forth all the many times you want but you have to be in it for Blackwell you a 19 companies 19 bobbleheads raised estimates raised Target prices for next year. and if you remember what last quarter was like it did take a dump and then it traded sideways when we had July to August the Japanese trade unwinding it really took a shit but typically it trade sideways in a real narrow band I think this time you're going to see an accumulation. where it begins to trade much higher it's not going to trade sideways like it did last time post earnings. just as a cautionary note this is a leveraged ETF so you really don't want to leave profits in the ETF I ordinally advice people to leave your profits in companies that are great companies for the long term but with this because there's a lot of options and there's decay when the trade goes against them like July to August take your profits and buy the common stock even if it's one share five shares three shares whatever the hell it is buy it and forget about it

• 10baggerbamm : there's enormous amount of options at work today you can't really read into the price movement it certainly is nothing to do with the underlying fundamental so this ETF down a dollar which is leveraged the common stock down a few dollars it has more to do with the options that are going to be expiring than anything else

• 10baggerbamm OP Chipmunk : number one it depends on your time horizon if you're looking for a short-term trade you need to buy it when it's down a dollar you need to be able to step up when it looks bad and purchase and typically ordinarily you see that early morning and you could buy it pre-market or you buy it shortly right after the open when futures are down bad when we get one of those days. or you do what I suggested which is sell puts which I did on the weakness this morning I sold a shit ton of puts and unless Putin goes nuclear on Ukraine tonight they're all going to expire worthless tomorrow. Park I said If you're looking out a year you can buy it anywhere in here buy it 18.50- 20.00 anywhere is in here is fine because Nvidia will enter another period where it kind of goes into a hibernation mode. and the stock will just trade in a real narrow band but I will tell you this that you need to be in it before quarter one starts next year and you need to be in it through Q2 next year because Blackwell sales are going to be parabolic

• 10baggerbamm OP StockRoller : again it depends on your time horizon but you buy great companies when they sell off and that's right from the Oracle of Omaha Warren Buffett.
  fyi I sold 500 contracts at 18.50 last week. so I may be getting put 50,000 shares today if it closes 18.50 or less.

• 10baggerbamm OP : as a follow-up I just want to mention that this leverage ETF has weekly options. it use to only have monthly options and there is another leveraged ETF nvdu that only has monthly options. so in my opinion this ETF nvdx is superior to all others because it permits you to sell puts on a weekly basis.
  so if every Monday you sell puts for a Friday expiration at a dollar below the current price you're going to collect about 80 cents. do that four times in a month that's $3.20
  this makes an assumption you don't get put the stock or if you do you have the financial means to continue this strategy to build a position in the company.
  but if you collect $3.20 that would be the equivalent of this stock / ETF being $21.20. so if you only buy the stock you would need to see it go up by $3.20 and it may do that but it may not. by selling puts you absolutely collect that premium right up front and it adds up to real money very quickly. you can stay within one or two companies and build a significant return on your investment dollars by selling puts
