• 10baggerbamm OP JFL : the soxs index /soxl which is the leveraged ETF I think it's bottomed 26 to 27 we bounced off of that multiple times now.
  tomorrow is a huge day potentially for NVIDIA shareholders. if Jensen does not say something that has a shock the world moment not just the standard rhetoric about AI growth capex spending but if he doesn't talk about ultra Blackwell Rubin the video capability that's going to make an enormous difference as a result of Blackwell compared to anybody else's GPU in the world. if he doesn't do something or say something then people are going to dump Nvidia.
  this to me is just like Lisa Su several months ago when they had their big day in the sun in the world was watching and they debuted their brand new GPU that was only 30% quicker was larger in size and didn't announce any new customers they had the same people coming up on stage saying how great rah rah rah AMD gpus were and they look forward to working with the company and they're great to work with and it went from 174 to 117.
  I'm not saying Nvidia is going to crash I'm saying that this will be a sell the moment event unless Jensen causes everybody to take pause and realize that 2025 is not going to be a 30% revenue growth year or 50% revenue growth year that it's going to be significantly greater and that Blackwell's margins are going to be enormous giving greater profits than what Wall Street had expected which is $5 a share this year.
  you look at the chart it looks like shit on Nvidia and I didn't look at the put volume late last week but I'm sure it's way the hell up on Nvidia stock because a picture is worth a thousand words.
  me being ever The optimist looking through my Rose colored glasses who got put 50,000 shares at $18.50 of nvdx (FYI you need to add the dividend back to the current price)
  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there is a breakout to the upside again and that it does not reverse, because everything about me says sell the etf here that it can be bought $1.50 +- cheaper within a week and a half to two weeks

• 10baggerbamm OP ChangDaniel : you have technical resistance but you have Jensen speaking next week right now Nvidia is underweighted in institutional ownership because it has been call it what it is a dog for 6 months it's really done poorly and post earnings last quarter it's done nothing but drop.
  so depending upon what Jensen says it could be sell the news or could be by the news if it really is astounding news that's going to add significantly to their market share and two earnings this year

• 10baggerbamm : if you look at the options and you don't know what you're looking at right now with today's expiration at a 17 strike they're over two dollars so somebody who doesn't understand would say I'm going to sell a call naked and I'm going to collect $2 because the stocks only at 15 and 1/8 and you're going to get screwed blue and tattooed because that option includes the $2 and change for the distribution. so for today's expiration whatever option you're looking at you need to understand there's no free lunch that they factor in that $2 distribution into those strike prices so really you're looking at 15 and 1/8 + $2 in change so that puts this ETF at 17 and a quarter and that's how you need to factor it against those contracts.
  for January 3rd everything is correct relative to the current price of the ETF so if you want to sell calls for January 3rd or beyond or by puts whatever those strike prices are correct relative to the current price of the ETF
