ocbc dividend yield needs to be gross yield 0.5% or even 1% above DBS’s gross yield which currently Dbs is at about 6.5% gross plus dbs is returning quarterly dividends for 3 years returning capital of 3 billion (20% more) and for much longer.. so it was obvious for me to quickly convert all my ocbc for Dbs’s quarterly dividend which proved to be quite the same to ocbc’s. so now holders will have to decide why not convert uob and ocbc to dbs. uob gross div should be about 0.5% above dbs’s div of 6.5%. so think this over..
