  But, seeing how OXY is undervalued compared to other O&G companies, there’s very attractive upside I think.

• 10baggerbamm OP PeterLow : the government doesn't control the petroleum price oil is traded on exchanges as a commodity you have Brent and you have crude and they're publicly traded so you're incorrect in your statement. the government has the ability to increase the exploration and the production of oil or as the current administration to constrain it by shutting down pipelines and preventing drilling on federal government land and in the oceans. under Trump you will see within 12 months oil prices fall into the mid $40 range that's all but a 100% certainty. his policies for energy Independence during his first presidency produced results in the low 40s and he has stood by from day one as a candidate and now president elect drill baby drill that we will be the largest producer and refiner and net exporter in the world and we will not buy oil from any other country around the world effective January 20th
