alot of it is chance and a gamble, you can loose just as fast as you win, so be careful. so if an option is .25 cents, and you buy 1 that will cost you $25 because its x100. so if the option goes to .26 cents, itll raise a dollar, if it raises $1.25 thats over $125. but thats if only buy one stock option, if you buy 10 the math would be 10x. but equal the option can not hit the mark, and the .25 could drop to a penny and you can loose practically all youve invested in tbat option & sometimes that can happen swiftly. for example if its a call option for Intel, set at $21.00 and today its at $19, and the option ends on friday, you have to hope it makes it to $21.00 by friday or you lost pretty much, if it goes way over $21, the option price is endless so you can make as much as people pay for the option.
