72269062 : Qualcomm is like ASML in that they both license their tech to others. One big difference is that Qualcomm is more at the implementation stage, whereas ASML only provides research. Companies are moving to doing their own research too, so ASML is also at risk. But Qualcomm made it work the new ARM based processors for PC, the next era of phone chips to power computers with huge improvement in battery life. ASML failed in this that's why it sold it to Qualcomm, and now wants a piece of the work that Qualcomm already bought and did additional work to make it work.
Qualcomm is also one of the few companies that have won vs Apple in legal dispute.
Qualcomm is rightfully under valued and more valuable than ASML, that rests on historical dominance that is fading away.

Qualcomm has been diversifying into other areas like IoT and automotive, which will gradually offset any potential loss. 10baggerbamm : this is going to take time but at some point and I think we're nearing it common sense prevails. if you use the biggest brush stroke to evaluate companies the price to earnings ratio and you look at the price to earnings ratio of the different indexes if you look at the price earnings ratio of some of the largest companies. the Dow and S&P are between 22 and 24x. Qualcomm is a 17 times. you can go down the list of some of the leading tech stocks they have been marked down to a level that puts them at a discount to many industrial companies that have single digit growth at best. so every day your brainwashed on TV to hear old money is rotating the rotation is underway the rotation has been underway money is going into small caps money is going into banking stocks money is going into fill in the blank.
you know how fast money will exit out of banking stocks? all financial stocks? if the Federal reserve changes their stance on cutting rates to moderation or increasing rates as a result of tariffs. all your financial stocks all your small cap stocks everything that money is supposedly rushing into right now blindly buying the whole baskets will migrate out. in the meantime patience will prevail it's not pretty the whole tech sector is been upended. at the end of the day that's where the growth is it originates in technology companies and then it spread throughout the economy and money will come back to tech stocks but they're not going to ring the bell to tell you to buy them they will just start a 45° upward trend and once they go up 50 or 60% then these morons on TV will be telling everybody to buy tech stocks again
