Apple's ambition to use self-developed components in its devices will include a shift to using its own developed Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connection Chips starting next year, replacing some parts currently provided by Broadcom. According to informed sources, this chip, codenamed Proxima, has been in development for several years and is now planned to begin production in 2025. Like other self-developed chips from Apple, Proxima will be produced by partner Taiwan Semiconductor.
