MARKET-TEST-DUMMY : To far OTM when starting?  Easier to manage an option that's ITM in my opinion. Less fear of expiring worthless. Better odds of averaging down. I'm not perfect by any means. Just something I've come to notice over time.

MARKET-TEST-DUMMY : Still within ranges. You must have gotten antsy. I usually DCA if I'm wrong. Sometimes it trashes an entire day of trading.

MARKET-TEST-DUMMY Mr_filz : Depends on market day. If earnings around corners or not. Changes. Don't stay in same place. Also changes as my account does too. Less money, different trades. I use a cash account and can use it all in one trade depending on what I trade.

MARKET-TEST-DUMMY Mr_filz : If you go to far out say couple weeks on say qqq you really fight time decay bad. Better used to hedge stock position at that point. couple to few days out not as bad. Again gives you little more protection against expiration. Better to have good risk management and not go against your trading rules. Don't over leverage your account. Buying to many of anything is a bad idea kinda fits with the eggs in a basket theme. Pretty basic. I trade almost everything not just options. Not just here. Been learning like everyone else along the journey.  Good people on the platform so far that I've run into. Sure if you ask you can find out what your heart desires. Nothing is a sure thing. The only emotions you should have is discipline with a side of diligence here.
