The Empire State manufacturing index for September is scheduled for release at 8:30 a.m. ET. Analysts expect the index dropping to 25 in October from 34.3 in September.
Data in import and export prices for September will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. After declining 0.3% in August, import prices are expected to increase 0.6% in September. Export prices are seen increasing 0.5% during the month.
Data on business inventories for August will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Business inventories in August are projected to increase 0.7% following July's 0.5% growth.
The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for October is scheduled for release at 10:00 a.m. ET. Consumer sentiment is expected to rise to 74.0 in October, compared with September's 72.8 reading.
