The market climbed on Tuesday. After a down start to the trading session, the market direction reversed. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones hit fresh trading highs and closing highs yet again.
Just past 4 am ET, the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ traded up 25 bps, the $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ climbed 20 bps, and the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ fell 56 bps.

$Sirius XM (SIRI.US)$ With the interest rate cut of 50 basis points, we shall see at least $45mil savings for SIRI with its total debt of $9.39bil. With the intention of further cut by 50 basis points throughout the year end, then it will double up to $90mil. It would add up 6% -7% to its profit after taxes on an annualised basis.

$Sirius XM (SIRI.US)$ $9.39bil of debt as at 30 June 2024, 19% higher than their market cap. with a cut of 50 basis points of Fed interest rate, it should bode well for SIRI. This should be the best news for SIRI now since we anticipate more cuts are coming

$Sirius XM (SIRI.US)$If this one drops to 19.00 - 21.00, it might give a better bounce. People were used to trade this stock as a penny stock so I think that’s one of the reasons we don’t see any significant buying. You’ll probably see that the lower it gets the more buyers will feel like buying. Just a guess.
