Sun Life's survey shows that women's financial security in Asia has reached an all-time high, but challenges still remain.
Nearly two-thirds of women believe that their financial security has improved compared to their mothers' generation. 67% of respondents stated that health issues are the main life events prompting them to make significant financial decisions. 72% of respondents have sacrificed personal Medical care to pay for the care costs of their children or elderly relatives. The primary financial security goal (70%) is to have enough savings to cover unexpected expenses. 44% of mothers feel pressured when balancing the financial needs of their children and aging parents. 65% of respondents find it difficult to find financial products that meet their needs.
