70580865 : Going in when you posted would give you +5% now… Just find undervalued assets you did the due diligence on, including fundamentals, leadership, opportunity, and competition, and go in. Technical analysis has its place for entry points and hedging, but it’s not the main thing. Also, regarding whales, the challenge is predicting them, not copying them. When they decide, they move much faster and stronger than you.

10baggerbamm OP 70580865 : over the past week and a half the stock has traded up in today but the net is a negative close.
nothing goes straight down but the institutional flows are negative.
want to try to catch the bottom I wish you the luck of the Irish. this Market is very fast there's enormous margin calls coming in that's why the market went red this morning in my opinion and it's still red now you do have some buying you see it I see it but it's not to say tomorrow we can't get down again the net flows are negative but intraday you do have whipsawing back and forth where stocks trade up but right now the net result is their trading down so if you miss that cycle of that quick little 5% rally you're going to be at a loss on the next leg down

I am just saying you are pretty much masturbating on plots and indictators trying to copy whales when the challenge is PREDICTING them!!

reading an SEC filing is like trying to base a forward decision on yesterday's newspaper it's history
they will have another cycle these stocks will trade up I have no doubt about that it's just it's going to be very difficult when NNE ,oklo are trading lower that SMR will Gap up.
by the way the earnings they have none it's really going to be a matter what do their cash reserves look like how long can they last before they need to do a raise that's what's going to be scrutinized because a raise means selling stock and that's dilution.

the only caution I want to put is this company's going into earnings next week I don't know how that it potentially is going to impact this trade
obviously they have little to no earnings because the industry is evolving.. as we speak at that ribbon if they do some type of capital raise the stock would trade down so if they were to say we're going to sell stock to raise money for our next round of growth that's a risk

10baggerbamm OP SeaBird0110 : my suggestion and only because I made this mistake you need to have a point where if the trade goes against you and I don't care if people say it's a long term investment
Every long term investment started out as short-term trade with the hope and that's the word the hopium
that the stock will Gap up real fast and I'll make a lot of money in a short period amount of time everybody has that aspiration that hope
you don't want your principal to go down more than a designated amount you have to take a small loss that is the most important lesson in investing
can't stress that enough and I am guilty I am guilty I am guilty I fall in love with some stocks I have an analyst or several analysts that I respect and I listen to them and they influence what should be a concrete decision a concrete line in the Sand to take a small loss
every big loss started as a small loss
so don't get duped into believing 3 to 5 years down the road I'm going to make a shit ton of money
William O'Neill from investor Business daily he would use the number 7%, and he would say it doesn't matter what the company is what sector what analyst opinions are what earnings were it's irrelevant if at any point in time your investment goes down by 7% you sell. and no conversation
so you have to come up with a number what that line in the Sand is and I will tell you the most pain I've ever experienced is loss of principle it's not being wrong on the trade it's not taking a small loss because I can make a small loss back in another good investment but it's really difficult if you're down 40% or 50% that means you got to have 100% return on your money to break even again or 80% return that's very very challenging.
so I hope you're not severely in the red I hope you're still profitable this is a very high beta stock it can move extremely quickly we will have seen that but just like quantum stocks when they get out of favor they collapsed we see these high percent swings within the SMR sector as well
