smoothshoe OP : By all accounts, the tech sector is expected to beat earnings by an overall average of 9%. Keep in mind that stocks have fallen after top and bottom line earnings beats when expectations are baked into the price. The recent tech sell off is a good sign that if companies beat expectations, their stock price has room to go up. I'm optimistic going into earnings, but geopolitical situations will continue to have an impact on markets.
