  these are all leveraged they're all extremely volatile. if you can't stomach a 20% decline you don't want to be in them.. you cannot run a 5% stop loss on these ETFs because you'll get stopped out two or three times a week if you were to try to do something like this and that's just because they're extremely volatile.
  if you are bullish on bitcoin if you are bullish on coinbase because they are a crypto exchange if you are bullish on the Bitcoin mining companies. then you should look into the ETFs, if you can stomach the risk and I can't stress that enough.
  if you read what I posted this morning my stance is laid out in black and white but if you're bullish on bitcoin I gave the reasons why you want to own the mining companies if you are bullish on bitcoin I gave the reasons why you want to own coinbase.

• 10baggerbamm 151404867 OP : if you're new to investing you don't want to be in a leveraged ETF I'm just going to tell you that right now because you will more than likely panic when they reverse on you.
  I don't know your financial status I don't know how much money you have to work with I don't know the level of your risk that you're willing to take I don't know the time frame that you can put money away for.
  so when you ask somebody else well what do you like if you don't really know about that person I can only talk about what I like which doesn't mean it's right for you
  so as an example a long time ago when I was a registered representative a stockbroker when I first started out they had  what's called The prudent man's rule. everything is about putting the client's needs before the companies before yourself and you need to know your client you need to qualify them. this is because what's right for an 80 year old is probably not going to be what's right for a 30-year-old and vice versa.. but it might be and you don't know unless you speak to them and understand where they are the risk they're taking how long they're willing to put money away for their level of experience they have what their objectives are preservation or risk of capital or income.
  so if you're just starting out what I would tell you to do is spend time on moo moo they have an outstanding educational programs on investing that will take you from a neophyte to an experienced investor you just have to be willing to devote the time to learn..
  if you're starting out and you have no money in the market I would tell you you need to develop a plan first what you can afford to put away either on a weekly basis or on a monthly basis you do not look to trade because I can guarantee you you're going to lose and the worst thing to have happen is you make money on your first trade because you think you're a pro and then you're going to do something stupid like take cash advance on a credit card and invest that and this time you do lose and now you really screwed yourself in a hole.
  if you're just starting out number one understand investing is a lifetime it's a marathon not a Sprint.
  if it's easy come it can be easy go meaning if you can make money really really quick you can lose it just as fast
  so that's why get an education first once you realize how much you can actually afford to invest on a weekly basis or monthly buy an index fund for an S&P 500 or buy a growth mutual fund whether it's an open end or closed end it's your choosing and continuously contribute and don't worry about Market fluctuations because you're not investing for today you're investing 30 years down the road when you retire or 40 years down the road.
  once you have that discipline in place and you've built up a nest egg and you're comfortable with maintaining a discipline approach of dollar cost averaging maybe you have a windfall you get a bonus all your bills are paid your credit cards paid down and now you want to speculate a little in the market that's when you can put your toe in and try it but don't start off speculating first because you're going to lose I can virtually guarantee it

• ASteffie : Yes.  I would stick to doing research and investing mostly in ETFS. The big caps at first then dabble. I like to stay where I know things.  Bags knows things.  Lots of things.
