I prefer $VanEck Fabless Semiconductor ETF (SMHX.US)$ as a long hold. no decay/rebalance. new and a lower expense ratio. slow is better in a volatile sector... just holds better

Trump's administration wants the AI chips made in domestically, this led to Intel's potential in the future 2025. Intel as a US company, already have serveral chip fab deployed in the US is beloved by the government and Trump. Trump promised to put Tariffs on Semiconductor mainly to focused on TSMC, giving TSMC three "Plan":

Ultratech OP Nivanna : it happens randomly. when these things run they'll do a forward split so you miss out on the gains from being in them at a lower price. better off investing in its underlying tickers nvidia/avgo etc. smhx is nice because it just started recently the. it traded around 26 for awhile I highly doubt it'll go that low again now 29 probably going to 32. it dipped off deepseek news not going back
