10baggerbamm Alicelee99 OP : if you believe what the bobbleheads on TV say typically after a Fed rate cut you have a several percentage point index decline.  nobody knows and that's what makes a market you get people that are optimistic you get people that are pessimistic and all these stations they bring on both people and the ones that are right they bring them back on and they pound their chest and Pat themselves on the back say I told you so. what is going to rally our companies that are going to make money from refinancing so rocket mortgage has been doing exceptionally well even though the housing market for purchases is a little bit off because the prices refinancing is going to skyrocket so all of the regional banks that deal in refinancing all of the specialty companies that are out there that refinance they will be printing money hand over fist and their stocks will be busting year highs and all-time highs before this whole rate cut Bonanza is over in the next year and a half or so
