Nidia_Girl 2865479 : it depends on your strategy and portfolio size , you can leverage 100$ long vs 200$ short .. Their is many tactics Hedge funds use

2865479 Nidia_Girl : I'd rather just put the 300 on it not be a coward. hold long and don't sell. if it goes down you hold long and don't sell eventually it rebounds. hedge funds have billions to play with. a young person with small account I would go all in tqqq right now and go through a correction with no hedge before going short . I'd be very surprised if someone doesn't take a beating on inversed etfs vs just investing long holding not doing anything but buying more stocks freely. playing little games you will lose more than simply holding long on a good ticker

Nidia_Girl 2865479 : congratulations if this works for you , and I respect your strategy .. Everyone has a different mindset and different  risk tolerance , I sometimes hedge and sometimes I do go in but it depends on what I see
