• 10baggerbamm SUIE : decay has nothing to do what's happening people throw around terms they don't understand the decay is because the options that are used to create the leverage that's where the decay comes from options have a time value and every day the time value ticks away. the drop today is not decay the drop today is what I commented on for the past 2 days has happened

• SUIE 10baggerbamm : I trade options, I know what u meant. From what I know leveraged ETF do decay as well from rebalancing. It's not a intra day decay like options. He asked why people are 'shorting' and not 'buying' the inversed, that could be a reason if decay is on short-ers side for slightly longer positions.

• 10baggerbamm SUIE : you can't see the decay I've been in these leveraged ETFs for a very long time some I have held for over a year.
  a leveraged ETF can trade at a discount or premium to net asset value at any point in time inter day it can trade below its assets or above its assets based off of people buying and selling the ETF. so that's number one so based off of that you can't see decay. the only time that I have observed decay and this was for a long-term position and that's in the leverage ETF foreign video which I still hold nvdu.
  I posted this before multiple times it used to be when Nvidia common stock was at $131 the leveraged ETF would be at parity at the same price $131 and then every tick for NVIDIA The leverage The ETF . accelerated 2x in the chart
