saufi262 : all Malaysian are subject to 30% withholding tax for any paid dividend. it is something to do with Malaysia & US tax treaty. we dont have this treaty.
Mango26 OP saufi262 : But I've never been charged such withholding taxes on my dividends received from Malaysian REITs though
. When you mentioned 'any paid dividend', are you only referring to the dividends received from owning US shares/ETFs ?
