Finally our paper competition ended! Stay up all the way till 4am the past few sessions was intense, exciting and definitely tiring 😂
Started the last day of competition being caught by $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$ shooting up to $127 and dropping to as low as $107. Along with $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ which i sincerely think that with decent delivery report, the zoom downwards of -7% was unthinkable. Finally got out both positions. That caught my P&L a good negative $5k

Choppy start

The US stock market was off to a rocky start for the month of September. Both S&P500 and Nasdaq fell on the first 2 trading days of the month.
Nvidia has shed about $300 billion in market cap

More encouraging data

Retails sales went up by 1% in July. This is way higher than the estimate of 0.3%. This indicates that that economy is still resilient.
In addition, weekly jobless claims fell, which gives investors some confidence that the unemployment rate isn’t that bad.
These 2 days came after 2 soft inflation reports.
