How do we even begin? What a week. I started last Monday thinking about the lyrics to the Judas Priest classic, "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll"... and roll they did, but only for a little while. July CPI gonna be cooked

Just got back from the farmers market, prices are through the roof again, tomatoes $0.89 in June are now $1.29 - $1.49 for a way shittier quality. Everything was ~20%+ more expensive but consistently dogshit. A major factor for lower inflation in May and June was food price stagnation. Tomorrows CPI report should also show a small, negligible increase in CPI as expected, but next months report is gonna tank the markets as prices skyrocket once again

Bonds:
The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury fell 4.60 basis points to 3.9417%, up 15.32 basis points for the week after dropping to 3.6653% on Monday. The 2-year U.S. Treasury yield rose 1.51 basis points to 4.0531%, up 17.12 basis points for the week after dropping to 3.6498% on Monday.
