$SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ What happen?

Although the latest CPI figures came in line with expectations, they remain above the Fed’s 2% target.
The slight uptick in the numbers actually reinforced the fears of persistent & sticky inflation.
This basically complicates the Fed’s strategy as they plan out their monetary policy under a new administration in 2025.
So are we gonna have a rate cut this Dec? If yes, what is the size of it? Also, what’s the plan for 2025? Will inflation creep back up again?

After the move up today here are where things stand with SPY. GAPs open above and below to keep an eye on. A move to 590.20 would be a good spot for a short entry. Similarly if we come back down to retest 583.86 could be good for a long bounce but that would only be for a quick scalp as that level is likely to give way to a GAP fill.
