Why doesn't the Federal Reserve activate the printing press for large-scale QE to repurchase Treasury bonds?
Because the more it buys, the more losses it incurs, ultimately falling into a death spiral.
So why not quickly lower interest rates? To depress bond yields and raise prices to sell long-term bonds?
Because it would lead to hyperinflation.
In addition to the negative impact of the tariff war.
The dollar Exchange Rates would collapse, simultaneously destroying the bond market, and there is no large capital sufficient to absorb the bonds the Federal Reserve would sell.
This is liquidity risk.
The Federal Reserve's printing money is essentially based on the Global market's response.
(USA bonds = Credit) Confidence.
If USA bonds lose international credit, the dollar hegemony will come to an end.
Can the US stock market really turn around? Why have you been here for 3 years?

Warren Buffed OP 暗号 : However, what the bed wants is the depreciation of the dollar. His idea is beneficial for exports, but look at his methods; sooner or later, others will not do business with him, isolating him. He is able to play this way now only because he controls the Federal Reserve.
China is actually stronger than the USA now, still keeping a low profile and developing cautiously.

I suppose if Trump is walking around on the street outside US, every one who walk pass him will spit on him. Between North Korea Kim and Trump, sharp shooter will probably go for Trump.
