Stellantis's Turin plant in Italy is once again shut down.
Global fourth-largest auto manufacturers Stellantis will once again suspend production at its Mirafiori plant in Turin until December due to weak demand for the Fiat 500 electric car. According to Milano Finanza, after a shift in November (producing about 170 vehicles), the company reported that there were not enough orders to continue assembly in December. Production at the plant is expected to resume on January 13 for a three-week period, unless there are further changes. The situation in the French market is also not looking good.
