Thanks to the ban on RUSSIAN ALUMINUM going through the COMEX and LME, South 32 ( $South32 Ltd (S32.AU)$ ) rallied 4.5% and Alumina ( $Alumina Ltd (AWC.AU)$ ) put on 6%.…Elsewhere, I was a little surprised fundies weren’t coming in hard for our OILERS – Woodside ( $Woodside Energy Group Ltd (WDS.AU)$ ) only put on 0.3% and Santos ( $Santos Ltd (STO.AU)$ ) added just 0.9%….Got to say that STO looks more than ready to break out and we could even see WDS return with a better takeover offer.

Our market had a solid session as investors poured money into resource stocks on the back of stronger commodities.
$Santos Ltd (STO.AU)$ rallied 4%, $BHP Group Ltd (BHP.AU)$ put on 2.5% and  added 3.22%!!!

Investors threw cash at resource stocks, stoked by rising commodity prices.

Bloomberg published an article claiming Saudi Aramco and Abu Dhabi National Oil Co have been separately examining a takeover bid for Santos ( $Santos Ltd (STO.AU)$ )….I think there is Buckley’s chance the government will allow a foreign entity to acquire Santos.

Woodside ( $Woodside Energy Group Ltd (WDS.AU)$ ), Santos ( $Santos Ltd (STO.AU)$ ), Beach ( $Beach Energy Ltd (BPT.AU)$ ) and Karoon ( $Karoon Energy Ltd (KAR.AU)$ ) should be banking some solid cash at the moment considering the recent rally in OIL.…All 4 stocks are CHEAP.
