$Constellation Brands (STZ.US)$ The earnings miss is not that dramatic, revenue missed by 2.8%. Can try for a round to 194 if it shoots to low 170s.
This chart is telling of a consumer discretionary company. Fast growth and penetration of Mexican beers in the last decade, saturation of the growth after the pandemic. A growth stock has transitioned to a value/staple stock, with a P/E in the middle teen range now. Over 5% of free cash flow is somewhat attractive, although with 10 billion of debt.

Columns Wall Street Today: Labor Gains Hurt a Hurting Market

After the better-than-expected jobs report was released, the Dow was off more than 600 points in Friday. DAL and WBA earnings came in hot, leading to some climbers where it mattered, but overall, markets were down for the day and the week.
After the 4 pm ET close, the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ was down 1.54%, the $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ fell 1.63%, and the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ fell 1.63%.

Good question. Aside from the all-week technology shindig in Vegas, this is December Jobs Week. While markets will take a day off to observe the National Day of Mourning for President Carter on Thursday, and that will move the weekly data on jobless claims up to Wednesday, the release of the two BLS surveys remains unimpacted on Friday morning. So much for the Santa rally. The market closed higher on Friday, but it was not enough to overcome the past five sessions of declines.
