As Sep comes to an end, S&P500 is up about 21% year to date, and the index is on track for its strongest January to September performance since 1997.
We can’t be sure if October will be another green month, but we can be quite sure that volatility and wild swings will be here to stay as we get closer to US Presidential election.

Short-term reversals or relief rallies happen all the time, and this one would be targeting ~100.50, and possibly even as high as the pre-market gap fill at 100.81. The larger time frame rising wedge, however, is targeting ~97.0, which has confluence as a retest of the support line of the MUCH longer time frame descending channel. It is possible if it finds demand there it may generate a new, ascending channel.
