PhotoSynth OP Jwu007 : agreed,…. this is no “shadow” company and has a very good reputation in the industry. earnings are just 30 days away, and im hoping the stock drifts higher into earnings. Either way, im picking up that dividend, which has an excellent payout record, and regardless of where the stok is, you get the same dividend. So it all about accumulation in the number of shares at the time of the dividend. Id rather have a ouple thousand down here, than a little more than half the shares, at 40.00 +/-

stderr : I don't think torm moves dirty hydrocarbons,  they are a product shipping company.  Have shipping costs gone up there too?

RandomTrader_ : Oil prices has been going down which means shipping will also take a hit which it currently is. Setting aside the high dividend %, what is a good motive to buy more of this stock?

PhotoSynth : I think the bottom may well be in now……. A 5-1/2% move up in the face of no news, and shorts that have been pretty aggressive in keeping the market trending sharply downward,,there’s just something else going on I don’t know about, Additionally;. I also saw a huge order come in just after the close from Friday. The only other piece of fluff is the fact that Trump said he’s planning on retaking the Panama Canal back from Panama despite an international agreement that the Canal was handed over to Panama some years ago. This would be an international violation of the UN charter in seizure of what is definitively a sovereign country’s territory which would be an act of war…… Boy this sounds familiar..     Nonetheless, for now, TORM appears to have made a turn with some gusto. Let’s see what the market has to say……
