Xpeng CEO confidently went to US to test drive Tesla FSD to compare to Xpeng large model end-to-end XNGP, knowing he has an equivalent, if not better, product for the China driving environment than Tesla FSD.
Tesla possibly then took in Xpeng CEO feedback, compared FSD to XNGP, and then decided to delay the Aug/8 robotaxi announcement in China to October/10.
