Regardless of who has been in charge, they haven't exactly done a stellar job. We've a drug crisis, a debt crisis, 2 hot wars and another thawing out.
But enough now, Joe Biden is doing a great job at proving what I've always suspected. That the president doesn't really NEED to do anything at all, and in the grand scheme of things is probably not strictly speaking even necessary.
Seems these days the presidency itself is nothing more than a single point of failure in an otherwise fault tolerant system.
Why else would he spend his time beachside, flanked by secret service officers, while the world he's supposed to run burns?
Also, I love how much passion you put into pointing out Trump's "Criminality". If he wins the election, will you respect the legitimacy of his presidential pardon of himself as much as you respect the legitimacy of the which hunt, kangaroo court that convicted him.
To these people it's all games, it's not like he was ever going to do actual prison time. Just a side shown to distract everyone from the reality that were all propper fucked and there's nothing we can do to fix itm.
In the past we may have had a war to sort this out, but nowadays, half the country would be on the enemy's side, and the other half don't think there's anything worth fighting for.
