1) There’s plenty of bad news within $Intel(INTC.US)$ 's report, and recent news/reports about competitors ( $Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US)$ 's A16 commentary, reported demand for $NVIDIA(NVDA.US)$ 's Arm-powered GB200, reported IPC gains for $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD.US)$ 's Zen 5) don’t help matters either. Tesla, Visa and Boeing are popping in pre market after reporting their earnings.
Specifically for Tesla, it’s quite amazing that it is rallying off a very poor earnings.
Sometimes, the market rallies on bad earnings could be because the bad results weren’t as bad as previously feared. Sometimes, peope buy into the “future growth” theory.
Whether all these rebounds are dead cat bounces, it remains to be seen.
PS: definitely not complaining about this pop
