Singapore's stocks are poised for a six-year high thanks to a revival in bank shares as optimism rises ahead of the upcoming earnings season.

Temasek says it will continue to invest in the pollution industry and help decarbonize it.

Temasek Holdings, the controlling shareholder of Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, announced on Tuesday that it will continue to invest in major polluting companies, but is seeking to reduce emissions in its investment portfolio to accelerate decarbonization in industries such as aviation. In a significant climate-related data release, Temasek said on Tuesday that five companies, including Singapore Airlines, energy producer Sembcorp Industries Ltd., and commodity trader Olam Group, account for a portion of its $288 billion investment portfolio worth 389 billion Singapore dollars.
