On December 27, the midpoint exchange rate of the renminbi against the US dollar was reported at 7.1893, an increase of 4 points. The probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in January next year is 87.2%. According to CME's "FedWatch": the probability that the Federal Reserve will maintain interest rates in January next year is 87.2%, and the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 12.8%. By March next year, the probability of keeping the current interest rate unchanged is 50.6%, the cumulative probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 44.1%, and the cumulative probability of a 50 basis point rate cut is 5.4%.
