I hope you are well !
Oct has been a tough month for me.
Especially in last two days, absoltely destroyed by SOXL dropping 20% in total.
I added more positions in 31st because of this.
Reflecting back, there are two occasions where I would have been able to take a good profit, specifically on 14th, and 29th and it was a good learning.
The above table is the capital gain / loss of this month, still net +ve in terms of cpital gain. the loss was from expiring put options....

SPY is a passive, index-tracker that follows the S&P 500. In essence, the selection and weighting process has been outsourced to S&P, per their index methodology and rebalancing scheme.
S&P, on the other hand, has criteria for what companies are included, not included, added to, deleted from, etc. The index rebalances quarterly.

i think this is the first time ive experienced S&P dropping so much in a single day. Can this be considered a crash? Seems like if people arent satisfied with the remaining Mag7 earnings, it might crash more?
