It's not just Volkswagen in trouble. The signs are everywhere. But because of the US election, everything looks fine & dandy. The stock market & economy are 2 different things.
Gold price is the indicator that something is wrong in the economy. 30 ATHs this year alone!
Oil on the other hand, is on the edge. Middle east or Ukraine.  I don't know.
