Zhitong Finance learned that JPMorgan (JPM.US) issued $9 billion in bonds in the US investment grade market, becoming the first of the six major Wall Street banks expected to issue bonds. According to knowledgeable sources, the bank issued bonds in four parts, of which the longest term 11-year bond has a yield of 1.07%, which is 107 basis points higher than the yield on US Treasury bonds, originally expected to be around 135 basis points higher. Previously, due to the bank's investment banking and stock trading businesses exceeding expectations, and through Visa (V.US) stock trading, the bank won billions of dollars in revenue.
