  I think what you will see post Friday crypto conference with Trump roll the clock forward I think you're going to see a lot of other very wealthy Nations like Dubai UAE which are richer than rich buy into Bitcoin and I think they're going to start their own crypto mining empire it's very possible that some of the existing companies are going to get snapped up by much larger companies because it represents a turnkey opportunity and they're buying them with their country's currency which they print to buy a digital asset that is recognized as digital gold
  so I think there's going to be an outstanding long-term upside to this ETF don't be so quick to sell it in 6 months if it's up 10 bucks because as the adaptation of Bitcoin spreads around the world these companies are worth their weight in gold digital gold a multiple of it and they're going to keep growing buying more mining machines I think these companies if I am right maybe I'm not but if I'm right they will be producing returns several times over of what Bitcoin does going forward

• 10baggerbamm OP Andy loving trading : I own a fair amount of Bitcoin and Bitcoin through the leverage etfb ITX I don't have anything but a small small position in the mining companies profits that I left in the companies from trading and I'm not going to try to pick a winner I think if you wanted to own an individual company I think Mara is the best of the best all that being said I think because of what is going to transpire this Friday and I think because of the competition that's going to be coming within the mining industry I think there's going to be many startups around the world a lot of countries are going to throw money into Bitcoin mining operations so that they can mine it directly and not have to buy it in the open market individual companies are going to have to scale much quicker they're going to have to buy more equipment they're going to sell stock I think many of them will and that can have a short-term impact as we've witnessed this year and last year on some of these stocks.. so I'm just buying the ztf and I'm going to put it away and I'm not going to look at it everyday because this becomes a very binary decision. do I believe bitcoin's going to go above 110 120 150 and over time beyond that and if you do that's why you buy this ETF that owns the mining companies because outside of expansion where they have to sell stock to buy more mining equipment their profits are going to sort and if you look at as a group the multiples that the main mining companies are trading at Riot and Mara they trade it like 8 and 10 times for a PE where you have the S&P that trades at 23 times they traded a significant discount so if their multiples expand to just the average of the S&P they're almost triples in the stock price

• 10baggerbamm OP yeebee : I understand where you're coming from. for most of last year I was adamantly opposed to the mining companies for the reason that I outlined. your supply of your product is reduced by half by design yet the price that you can sell it for does not double it's a horrible business model.
  everything has now changed as a result of president Trump yesterday
  you have to look at the big picture
  the United States is the superpower of the world China's number two and then everybody else falls into place.
  whether you like President Trump as a political leader other countries leaders have to answer to their people one way or another. and you have to compete with the United States you either compete as a friend or as an enemy. Bitcoin is a very binary decision do you believe that as a result of president Trump now signing which he will do this week the executive order and it will go through Congress in the future that way true administrations won't be able to steal or borrow from the strategic reserve that would be the shit bag Democrats by the way.
  so this decision that other countries have to make is do we want to be left behind or do we want to buy Bitcoin to provide stability to our country's base as well because if they don't make the right decision now it's going to get very expensive for them in the future.
  the example that I gave of gold mining companies relative to the price of gold is 100% identical to what the Bitcoin mining companies are going to experience. because they're expenses as a Bitcoin miner are relatively constant some have higher electricity some use solar and wind to offset some or a portion or all of their electrical needs.. but because they're expenses are basically fixed their profits are 100% correlated to the price of Bitcoin just as the gold miners profits are 100% correlated to the price of gold and when you have the underlying commodity go up dramatically and we watch gold go from a range which broke out at about 1,820 to Knocking on 2900 when it broke out of that range the profits for the gold mining stocks went through the roof and the stocks rallied dramatically.
  that's what's going to happen to the Bitcoin mining companies I can say with 100% degree of certainty it's going to mirror that exact identical pattern as Bitcoin goes up and I don't mean looking at it now and it shows down 1500 compared to 1201 last night when the clock resets a new day I'm talking 3 months down the road 6 months down the road one year down the Road 2 years down the road these companies are going to be ringing the cash register they are mining digital gold and the demand is going to become insatiable. once countries start buying they're not going to throw a switch and stop they're going to be buying every month.
  so unless you can articulate your thoughts and tell me why I am wrong I'm going to stick with almost four decades of experience that says I'm right

• AkLi OP : I may do a reupload, or an update. There's some other stuff I want to talk about.
  After we posted, the media cought on about what we talked about regarding the complication between Gold and BTC. As well as the SEC's plan at regulation of crypto might not actually be conspiracy anymore. A lot of interesting things happening! Oh, and Vanguard saying they will not trade the BTC ETF (I wonder how long that will last when people pull their money to chase the hype).
  A lot of newer developments are unfolding. However, it looks like so far, we've been right on the money. I am happy, but also scared to an extent. Because guess what currency fueles a lot of terrorist organizations? What does the dark web use? And what /how does regulating BTC mean in the conversation of Privacy vs Security? How will it impact anonymity?
  How / why did someone who was an economist through the crash of 2008, the scare of the 2010’s, covid, the banking crisis, FTX, and much more, approve of the BTC ETF after all of that, and so soon? Hedge pressure? Who knows? Let’s find out!
