Want to diversify my portfolio (XEQT, VFV, HXQ)
Looking for an EFT to invest in which covers other markets besides the U.S. dominant ones I currently have. My portfolio is currently 40% HXQ, 40% VFV, and 20% XEQT. $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ $VANGUARD INVESTMENTS CANADA INC S&P 500 INDEX ETF (VFV.CA)$

I’m considering investing 40% VFV.TO, 30% XUU.TO, and 30% XEQT.TO. Is this a good portfolio? If not, why? $VANGUARD INVESTMENTS CANADA INC S&P 500 INDEX ETF (VFV.CA)$ $ISHARES CORE S&P US TOTAL MKT INDEX TRUST UNITS (XUU.CA)$ $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$

On August 9th, $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ will be 5 years old. This a major milestone for a fund. 🥳
I'll be helping those who $XEQT celebrate with a little something special on that day.

$ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ what's this ?

I’m looking for thoughts/pros/cons on putting it all into XBAL which I believe provides this ratio, vs putting the 60% into $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ + $VANGUARD INVESTMENTS CANADA INC S&P 500 INDEX ETF (VFV.CA)$ and the remaining 40% into a bonds ETF. I’m leaning towards the latter as if the market dips, he can hold onto the stocks portion and withdraw from bonds, and vice versa if it grows. Am I overlooking or misunderstanding something?

Considering taking a very simple approach with $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ but think it might be too heavy in equities by itself. I could just supplement it with some additional fixed income, but have also thought about the below (I also feel I'm missing stunting without $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ )
Would appreciate any feedback from anyone that was interested in providing.

Is it a good idea to invest into a combination of $VANGUARD INVESTMENTS CANADA INC VANGUARD ALL EQUITY ETF (VEQT.CA)$ & $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ holdings to minimize MER?

What pairs well with $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ and $TD GLOBAL TECH LEADERS INDEX ETF UNIT (TEC.CA)$ ?

It might be a good idea to balance it out with a few other holdings just to reduce the risk of being all-in with a single ETF.
Maybe put in a portion into $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ or another more stable growth-focused ETF to preserve capital?
