A modest start to investing

I started in the beginning of June focusing almost entirely on ETFs putting in about 1k total. I've been holding $Vanguard S&P 500 ETF(VOO.US)$ and $Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF(MAGS.US)$ mainly with a bit in $Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLE.US)$ to round myself out better. I'm not into day trades/basic stocks yet, but I'm content snowballing the long haul for now. Don't think it counts as a true half-year, but it's what I've managed so far

$Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLE.US)$ feel like manipulation is rampant in the usa market like no gain till I sell calls the stock only moves up after even though oil ran nuts yesterday
