Futures are showing sign of a potential stock market rebound today.
The last time we had such a huge sell off on the stock market this year was in August during the fall off of yen carry trade. Just one day after, the market rebounded.
Let’s see if buy the dip crowd will step in again this time.

Lots of Trump related stocks fell - notably, Tesla dropped 6%, among the steepest declines.
Other than the market being overextended, the latest retracement could also be because investors are waiting for the next CPI data, hence they are adopting a more cautious approach by locking in some profits.

For just the second month of 2024, and the first month since April, after surviving the often more dangerousmonth of September, the S&P 500 posted a negative October. The Nasdaq Composite closed out the month in the red as well, although that index had already posted a negative April as well as a negative July in 2024.
