BelleWeather : I hold static hedges and am DCAing income into gold, but not adding to bond exposure. I am steadily taking profits on tech at pops, and create collars along the way (and monetize both legs if possible.) I am holding five strong conviction companies with global presence, and dynamically hedging them with inverse ETFs which I rebalance daily (as they do.) BRKB is a core holding that I am leaving be, but most other core holdings are subject to stop-loss (awaiting sale.) Ultimately, I will be largely in gold and BTC next year.
This time is truly different. I’d intended never to sell off my positions, however, I expect collapse in the next couple of years, so must switch to preservation mode. To that end, I am also holding on to RE and renting it out, and planning to rent myself going forward. I need exposure to growth yet, but….my plans have changed. With something akin to a Minsky Moment, and the Greatest Depression is difficult on the way, hope to capitalize on this last gasp. (Also utilizing options for agility and capital efficiency.)
