The Reason Why Market Tumbles recently

Between July 24th to 25th 2024. The Magnificent 7 lost over $600 BILLION of market cap and the Broad Index S&P 500 lost $1.1 TRILLION of market cap. (Yes, Trillions)
The heatmap pretty much shows the bloodbath happened for the past few days
To begin the Vix (volatility / fear gauge) index also shows a massive surge within these few days, hitting the 18 mark.

Crowdstrike dominance in Cybersecurity

CRWD maybe a leader in the EDR and NGAV space, however after this incident, would their customers still be retained? CRWD offers their solution as a SaaS model and license wise is based on per device model if i recall correctly, similar to that of O365.
Personally, I do feel that many see it as the oversight, due to internal technical (their content validator) and process...

One Has to Wonder if cyber-security start-up Wiz calling off the proposed deal with Alphabet has anything to do with the mishap at CrowdStrike (CRWD) over the past few days. Crowdstrike's recent crash is quite a shock.

Most sell side analysts and some buy side are buying the dip based on empiricism and betting on the momentum.
But I do think it can be very different this time.
TL;DR: multiple qtrs of headwind for $CrowdStrike (CRWD.US)$ , tailwind for standalone BoB like Wiz and $SentinelOne (S.US)$ , partially good for $Palo Alto Networks (PANW.US)$ .

don't treat this as a get rich quick stock

$CrowdStrike (CRWD.US)$ don't go all in on this expecting a quick return in coming weeks. expect a lot of short term pain especially if management cuts forward guidance in the coming earnings report. if you really believe the management then maybe in 1-3 years this stock will be a winner. but you better do your research to decide if you're convicted enough in the management

look at the other cybersecurity stocks they're all green as fk

$CrowdStrike (CRWD.US)$ look at $SentinelOne (S.US)$ look at $Zscaler (ZS.US)$ look at $Palo Alto Networks (PANW.US)$ look at $Fortinet (FTNT.US)$ they're all green in premarket and probably even greener during market hours I'm thanking myself that I bought all these companies and didn't go all-in on CRWD i had a lot of faith in CRWD if this outage is as bad as I think it is I'm losing that faith we're going to need to see a good resp...
